Alexandra Varga, Miss Bellydance Hungary in 2013, oriental dance teacher, performer and choreographer based in Budapest. Her dynamic personality and playful vibe makes her one of the all-time favourites of the audience.
Alexandra is an acknowledged dancer and instructor teaching at Hungarian and international dance events, such as CAIRO! Festival (Hungary), Oriental Rose Festival (Germany), Orienthalia Festival (Serbia) and Festival Habibi.
She is a main instructor of Nieto Mercedes' Oriental Dance School in Hungary (NIMFEUM) and the choreographer of the international award-winner Raqs Tabla group.
Alexandra has been a soloist of the Nymph Oriental Dance Company since its founding - with the company - along many great events in various countries - she performed at a Royal Wedding in Qatar, also in China, Morocco and Egypt.
She is specialised in unique drumsolo techniques, analyzes the common challenges of improvisation and works on innovative perspectives of teaching, choreographing and practicing oriental dance.
Alex will be teaching 1 Workshops at our festival.
