DOMINIKA SUCHECKA

Dominika Suchecka is a multi-award winning, certified bellydance & fusion bellydance instructor with approximately 20 years of experience in teaching and performing in Warsaw, Poland and all over the world. She performed and taught at many events & festivals in Europe, USA, Korea and Egypt. In 2019 she became one of the teachers of the legendary Ahlan Wa Sahlan Festival - the oldest and most prestigious bellydance festival held in Cairo.

Since her biggest passion is teaching, on a day-to-day basis Dominika teaches weekly group classes in one of the biggest and most renowned bellydance studios in Poland - Hamsa Dance Studio - as well as many private classes in her home studio and online. In 2025 she also became artistic director of Hamsa Dance Studio.

Throughout her dance career Dominika visited Cairo 18 times both to learn and to perform for Egyptian audiences and is very devoted to sharing her love for Egypt, its culture and dance. She also studied the basics of meditative art form of whirling dance from one of the masters of Egyptian Tanoura dance Yasser El-Eraky and loves to incorporate whirling into her raqs sharqi and fusion bellydance routines and choreographies, creating immersive and unforgettable shows for her audiences.

Dominika is also actively promoting Egyptian art of raqs sharqi producing such events as the #TarabChallenge, Dance of the Heart Academy and its educational online gala show (co-produced with Hamsa Dance Studio, Agata Zakrzewska & Morjana), Fusion Mandala & Tarab Lab Intensive Stage Projects at Hamsa Dance Studio, Aiwa Ya Negma Egyptian Dance Festival (co-organised with Kasia Wronka) and a yearly bellydance tour to Egypt - Fanana Tour (co-organised with Morjana & Kasia Wronka).

Dominika will be teaching 1 Workshop at our festival.
