Interpretation of modern non-oriental music for Oriental dance

Melody and rhythm are fully integrated to every song, and modern world pop music is not different. It is very important to understand them, to be able to distinguish them and to use both of these lines in your dance.

In the workshop we will show how to properly use the pause effect, how to use body language in favor of expressing emotions without having to use expression and how to interpret contemporary pop music with oriental movements and technique. By combining theory and practice, we will show how to work with modern music so that the choreography catches the viewer's attention, is suitable for oriental competitions and not only for them, and at the same time is balanced both in terms of space and dance.
