Who is Jayanti?
Jayanti runs the Naplno dance-yoga studio in Prague, where she works with an amazing team of instructors of various dance styles. This year she participated in the European tour with Bellydance Evolution in the dance-theatre performance The Jungle Book. She also collaborated with BDE on the Alice in Wonderland and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz projects. In May, she was among the main guests and lecturers at the first edition of the Gent India Dans Festival in Belgium.
Miss sympathy and Miss Orient 2005 also won 2nd place at the Liptov Orient Festival in the category of classical oriental dance (2012) and in 2013 she was the 3rd Runner Up in the category of classical oriental dance, Bellydancer of the Universe (California, US).
Jayanti also previously danced in the Sheyla's professional dance group Al fayyum dancers, which made her more interested in classical Egyptian style, Egyptian folklore and Bollywood. She also danced in the group Abanico and in 2014 participated in the performance of the Kazafy Troupe in London. She now specializes in Indian Tribal Fusion Bellydance and conducts regular classes in oriental dance, cardio exercises and dance-movement training focused on flexibility.
